Chalet Bienenfreund in Ernen in Switzerland
Ernen is in the Wallis, close to Fiesch. It is in the country side between
beautiful mountains, about 1000 meters over sea.
Ernen is a typical village of the Wallis with wooden houses built in the
traditional style.
In summer you can go from Ernen for hiking high up to the mountains or in the
valley along the river Rhone. There are horses for riding or you can go biking.
In winter, there are beautiful places for skiing , cross country skiing, going
sledging or walking.
Fiesch has an indoor swimming pool and a tennis court.
Ernen is a quiet village with only few traffic.
When you arrive, the chalet will be prepared and in winter it is heated.
Traveling to Ernen by car
You can drive to Ernen by car all the year round on save roads.
In winter you drive from Brig to Ernen or you go with your car on a train from
Andermatt through the Furka tunnel.
In summer you can drive over the Alps. There are the passes Furka, Grimsel and
Nufenen.
The car park is in front of the chalet.Traveling to Ernen by train
You can easy travel to Ernen by train and bus. The Furka Oberalp Bahn goes from
Brig and from Andermatt to Fiesch. There is a bus from Fiesch to Ernen. The
bus stop is 200 meters in front of the chalet.
Comfortable flat with 41/2 rooms, 3 bedrooms with 6 beds and 1 bed
for a child. 3 Bathrooms, 2 with bath. Modern kitchen with everything you need
for cooking and eating, with electric cooker. Huge living room with TV, radio and
telephone. Electric heating.
There is a beautiful view from the balcony to the alps. In front of the flat is
a place for sitting and relaxing.
There is a room with a washing machine where skis or other things can be stored.
This room and the washing machine can be used from people from both flats.

Bathroom with shower. Modern kitchen with everything you need for cooking and
eating, with electric cooker. Living room with TV, radio and telephone.

sitting and relaxing.
